Ayr Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets are hosting their Spring Fayre later this month.
Locals and visitors are being invited to Foresters Hall in New Road on Saturday, April 13 from 11am to 2pm.
The event is free and will include hot food as well as 'hook a duck', 'adopt a teddy bear' and 'find the secret spring word' competitions.
There will also be various stalls selling a variety of items including wax melts, hand made goods, candy floss, croc charms, hot wheels keyrings, Osbourne books and lots more.
As previously reported in the Advertiser, the Sea Cadets received the keys to the Foresters Hall building in June 2023, almost exactly two years after being forced to leave their previous home due to major damage caused by a series of burst pipes.
During their two 'homeless' years the group was accommodated first at Annbank Hall and then in the halls at the Auld Kirk of Ayr.
After almost three months of hard work they paraded for the first time at their new base in September, with their first community event at the Foresters Hall taking place two months later.
