Road closures are set to impact drivers on the A77 in Ayrshire as essential resurfacing gets underway.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking the works at Mosside, east of Turnberry, from Monday, April 22 to Wednesday, May 1.
Works will take place between 8pm and 6am each night, 580 metres east of the Merkland Junction and 480m west of Crossraguel Abbey.
The work will be undertaken using a combination of overnight road closures and daytime temporary traffic lights, with a signed diversion in operation.
A77 northbound traffic will be directed off the A77 at Turnberry and on to the A719, continuing straight on at Pennyglen to join the B7023 and rejoining the A77 at Maybole.
Southbound traffic will follow the same diversion route in reverse.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.
